The Return of Camazotz is a terrific modern horror comic that will remind readers of the great 80s horror classic films. A nicely paced story with twists and turns. It'll keep everyone invested in the characters. And an EC Comics feel makes you jump right into it. A fantastic starting point for Grimmcore.

This is a real welcomed change to the genre. A great story that keeps you flipping to the next page. Amazing art with a deep story that calls back to Mayan culture. Dark tones, heart, and a lot of blood sounds like the right combination to me.
The Return of Camazotz is stunning, unsettling, and - like the Mayan bat god of death that haunts the protagonists - impossible to put down.
Camazotz is not just a monster or savior but a force that compels readers to ask big questions: What is family? What lies beyond death? What does it mean to sacrifice for others?
