David Rucker
David Rucker is a writer, Marine Corps veteran, and creator of Decimation Earth. In 2025 he became the CFO of Grimmcore Studios. David has always been an avid collector of comic books and can remember spending many days doodling with his childhood friends, creating comic books of their own. However, he quickly realized that his talent lay in the writing. He fell in love with the world-building aspect of comics and began developing scripts that combined superhero mythology with other influences in his life. After 20 years and several different incarnations, Decimation Earth was born. David resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, twin boys, and pets. When David isn’t writing or spending time with his family, you can most likely find him at the gym, reading a comic book, or watching re-runs of Battlestar Galactica.
